So, Sotomeyer upholds precedent in this fireman case, but she’s an "activist judge". Can you have it both ways?

So, just to review, this whole fireman thing, she follows precedent but she’s a "reverse racist" according to Rush Limbaugh and an "activist judge".
Um, how’s this opposition working out being only led by Rush Limbaugh on the national level?
Which precedent was upheld by this case and if there is precedent, why is the Supreme [...]

Do Fire Trucks have garage door openers in them?

This didn’t post the first time, but hopefully it is now!
And I’m talking about for their own fire house. Is that true?
I would think so.

Are old blueprints worth anything - see details.?

Blueprints are not in perfect condition but very readable.
A few examples of what is drawn:
1. Blood Serum Oven
2. Incubator
3. Distilling Apparatus
4. Glass Blowers Fire (a torch for glass molding)
5. Blast Lamp
6. Special Float (it’s what resides in the bottom of a toilet tank)

All are dated late 1800’s to 1917, [...]

I am looking for a specific fire rescue toy for my 6 year old. Please read details section. Thanks!?

It’s a fairly new toy, and I can’t remember the manufacturer. It consists of a special firefighter’s helmet with voice changer/walkie talkie features, and I believe a backpack-style "oxygen tank" part to the costume. Also, but sold seperately, there is a "fire hose" toy that has blue plastic "water" that blasts out.

volunteer fire dept can not get e mail person with password no longer with us help?

Well for starters, it would be helpful to know who provides your email service.
If it’s through your ISP (Internet Service Provider), you should be able to contact them and explain the situation. If the account is listed under the fire dept. and the fire dept. is the one who is paying the [...]

How is it in a fire that a parent watched his son or a friend watched his friend pull the fire alarm?

In a fire how is it that a father watched his son pull the fire alarm or a friend watched his friend pull the fire alarm? Can a mature son who knows there is a fire ask his dad if he could pull the alarm? Could the father go with the son in a safe [...]

If the reserve pumper and ladder truck has to share a bay in a fire station, which is parked in front?

Kindda answered the question for yourself with using the term "reserve" pumper. But here goes. The ladder truck should be first, assuming it is already a first line apparatus. In most cases depending on SOP’s the ladder usually takes the address so therefore it would need to be readily available for first response. If the [...]

Why is Boston/Massachusetts so paranoid about fire prevention compared to other states?

They have fire alarm boxes everywhere, all gas filling stations are outfitted with suppression systems, red strobes on building faces and seem to have fire stations all over. I’ve been all over the country (excluding the rest of New England) and never seen them as serious as they are around Waltham and Boston. [...]
