Don’t Fear Creatine as a Woman

Many women are very scared of weight training to begin with. But once you realize that weight training for women is the way to go, you then have to work through actually taking some supplements to help you get better results.

I don’t recommend very many, but one in particular that I do believe in is creatine. This has gotten a bad rap in the past and many women confuse it with a steroid. However it is nothing like a steroid.

Creatine is actually an energy source. Creatine is a naturally occurring substance in your body. When you take it as a supplement, you are just giving your body more creatine to work with. This gives you more energy to workout just a little harder. That little bit of energy can lead to better lean muscle growth and fat burning ability.

These days there are many different types of creatine on the market and many of them come in some for of blend. To be on the safe side, I suggest you take plain old creatine-monohydrate. This way you want have to worry about and stomach issues that could arise with some of the other blends.
