They retro-fitted … They retro-fitted some of the old Monarchs with Fed Q’s. Check out the video response above, “Fire Engines Responding to a Fire Call”. Engine 5 is putting the Q to good use. Too bad about your 82 ALF - Hope someone gets it and keeps it beautiful. BTW, thanks for the comments - They are really appreciated.
these rigs are … these rigs are preety good lookin
like the monarchs but i think they need some fedrals……….the, La Frances are pretty sweet my town has one like the ALF pumper fromm 82, sadly, its getting rrplaced
In my British town … In my British town of 23,000 people, there are about 5 fire trucks, 2 “urban search and rescue” trucks and 1 paramedic car. Nearest bigger city is about 5 miles away (Worcester)
We have the usual … We have the usual number of fires compared to other southern cities. We have 21 engine cos. 7 hook & ladder trucks, 2 heavy rescue units, 10 medic units, 6 battalion chiefs, 2 ems supervisors, and all the other auxiliary apparatus and chief officers that a city this size has.
You are correct. … You are correct. The ALF Ladder Chief, then the Chief car and then the ALF pumper that cuts the siren when entering the shopping center.
Actually, the first … Actually, the first pumper was a Quality Monarch. The last Ladder was a LTI with a 109foot Aerial on a Spartan chassis. You were right about the GMC, but there was not an ALF Pioneer in this video.
