Your comment about volunteer Firefighters having the “HERO” bumper sticker as a joke, I’m not sure if you know this but 86% of Firefighters in America are volunteer! And the fact that we are out there doing the job at any hour while trying to live a normal life as well sometimes makes the job MORE demanding than a paid department…and second anybody who does this job is a Hero simply do to the fact that we continue doing despite what we incounter on a daily basis.
