i think everything was rinsed in petrol lol

  7. I shot this scene …
I shot this scene for discovery, there were no accelerants used. Tree was slightly dry like it gets toward new years if you forget to water it.
Once a naked flame reaches the tree it is history. A electrical fault would smolder but once direct flame contact is made the tree would go up in the same way.
It is not a “slippery slope” if the viewer understands the tree is not green. The structure was a freestanding wooden former accommodation building, not a purpose built set.

    It’s kinda windy, isen’t it?

  11. umm, close scrutiny …
umm, close scrutiny shows the rapid flame growth is caused by the tree and it’s needles.
    No artificial acceleration needed.
We’ve been burning trees the last few days and they do indeed go up that fast. The needles are the most rapid burners.
The piracy rant is irrelevant Tho.

  12. Does the dry pine …
Does the dry pine in your fireplace have dry needles and twigs on it?

  13. its amazing that …

    Yes! That’s what …
Yes! That’s what you deserve for cutting down an innocent tree for your stupid holidays. Revenge of the trees! Perfect holiday gift

  15. The ignition source …
The ignition source clearly throws a flame all the way up through the tree - AFTER this, yes, the tree goes up very fast, but its like lighting it with a flamethrower. They kinda cheated IMO, but at least it was for public safety but its a slippery, dangerous slope because other agencies think its ok to say that pirate movies and games pay for terrorism even though that’s patently not true - they admit to saying it just because it stops people pirating stuff.

  16. No, dry pine.
    No, dry pine.

that’s why you’re supposed to WATER YOUR TREE DAILY!!!!

  20. I pray that those …
I pray that those folks who think that is time lapsed are NOT in a home fire.
As part of my training at a retirement home, they should us a video of a house fire, caused by a cigarette in a trash can.
once the flames started it was seconds and the living room was in flames and in ecess of 400 degrees.
With in five minutes the second story was cut off due to excessice heat and toxic smoke.
This isn’t HDTV, any little lapse or jump is just video degregation from the original spource material.

  21. use your eyes. any …
use your eyes. any time lapse would be obvious because the flames movements would look fast forwarded or adjusted like all time lapses do.

  22. Woudent like to be …
Woudent like to be in that room

  23. Wtf? ;O
    Wtf? ;O

  24. No flames “flame” …
No flames “flame” that fast if there isn’t a wind blowing on it. It’s some sort of a time lapse, but still, it’s a fast scenario. Keep the lights out folks.
