That guy smaking his fingers on the key board is a fire Cadet or what we all call n Explorer! Not even a payed or real fireman! I have the right mind to call his corrdinator. The guy is supposed to be learning to be firemen, nottalking trash to real ones! My GOD!

I know some guys …
I know some guys from the FDNY and have changed it up and marched in St Paddy’s day Parade in NYC. The EMS and fire do not get along all that well. From what I was told was the disrespect the Paramedic showed toward guys that had been wearing the FDNY pach for 20+ years. I have no problems withmy Department! I love EMS it keeps me a job lol

I agree Dennis, you nailed it on the head! Anyway who cares! we all get along for the most part. I have had more than a few “Talks” with the guys that are load, lazy , slobs! They know who hey are! These guys that disagree?can go watch somemore Third Watch and keep dreaming! Its not klike that and never will be till respect is earned!

I have earned a FDNY patch, and I know Dennis or on youtube his screenname is “LAcoFireGuy” He is right! Some of the EMTs and Paramedic are slobs and lazy! They do stupid and make our Department look bad! My family goes back 100 years with the FDNY and I will not Stand for some street Doctor to make the FDNY look like a bunch of hole slobs! I know some very good EMT I hope become firemen. We have loads too but they earned the FDNY patch when they left “The Rock” as firemen!

Rudy Giuliani brought EMS into the FDNY and slapped a sticker on the side. it used to be NYC EMS,They do not get along and won’t until EMS stops giving their patch a bad name. You Have to earn a FDNY patch! going to paramedic school dose not cut it! FDNY firemen do not work on Ambulances they are single role paramedics and EMTs not firemen! I know a guy that works for Fairfax County and they do have rotation and do work on medic units. Where I work we use and work on squads, not ambulances.
