   same thing, I Want to a be a firefighter too, Im 14 ATM, 4 more years to go. Also, These guys put on the same clothes every single day, and they already have them positioned in the fastest way for them to grab it and slip it on

   that was quick.. would of took the extra 3 sec. for doin the mask tho. im a 1:17 with crappy gear fit for sum guy about 4 years ago.. didnt time myself with my new stuff. good job tho.

   I did the video for speed, that’s all. If I were being judged… I would of got penalties for improper mask donning, no seal check of mask, improper pressure test of tank and penalty for not completely dressed (collar).

   Oh yeah, my time stopped when I put my hand.

   another thing that i didnt see him do is check the seal on his mask, i dont know bout cali. or canada, but in Pa its part of the firfighter 1 test, to prove a seal in your mask before hooking up the air… but good vid tho

    Thats nice that he is doing it that quick.But how about when he is in the back of a truck with 6 other Fire Fighters trying to dress at the same time?Dressing fast is nice,dressing properly is even better.I can dress in about a minute and a half.I take the extra few seconds to make sure I am coverd and protected.

    Man, he didnt do it for freaking test purposes. He did it to show how fast he can get his gear on and be on air. This isnt a test. If it was i bet you he’d still get it around that time frame. Great job deadeye. Be safe and God Bless to you all.

    My Sergeant can beat all of you when doffing his gear because the site of fire triggers his bowels. I’ve never seen a man go so fast! Putting on his gear though, that’s a different story.
