What are the steps in to going to the fire staion and asking firefighters questions?

What are the steps in to going to the fire staion and asking firefighters questions?
I’m in the 10 grade and i have chosen the fire career to be my future job. What steps do I have to do to ask firefighters questions about their job? Do I have to go to go to the fire staion or call or what?
How old do I have to be?

If it is your local fire department you can walk over and ask if they have some free time to answer a few questions if they say no setup an appointment.

    If it is your local fire department you can walk over and ask if they have some free time to answer a few questions if they say no setup an appointment.

  2. Just walk right in. The only time you should call is if you’re bringing a ton of people with you. Go in and talk to the firefighters and ask for a tour. Tell them you’re thinking of being one. They’ll be more than happy to help you out. Ill be the first to admit i like showing people the equipment and sharing stories.
