What happens if you fire your attorney in an auto accident case?

I have a really bad attorney representing me for an auto accident claim. What happens if my husband and I fire him? What happens to our money?

If you paid him a retainer, you would lose that retainer. If he took the case on a contingency, You should read the agreement you most certainly signed when you hired him. You may owe him anyway if you fire him.
