what are the ups and downs of becoming a fireman?

i wanna be a fireman, and was wondering how life would be.

Not everyone is cut out for it. You’ll see mangled bodies and people who have just lost a loved one. Also nothing is more physically demanding then fighting a fire you can die of a heart attack on the spot. Some nights you don’t sleep other days you sit around bored out of your mind. That said it was the perfect job for me. I enjoying going to work cause you never know what crazy crap you might see. And it feels good to make a difference in peoples lives. And you have tons of free time.

they sit around alot in the firehouse, and eat, cook watch tv. etc. but, when a fire takes place it is hell. you could possibly lose your life. they tend to drink plenty too.
