The Trauma of Womens Hair Loss
While it used to only be men sporting big bald spots on their heads, women are suddenly catching up with alarming regularity. Out of all of those who are experiencing hair loss, forty percent of those are women. This is happening to women of all ages. However, it is true that it tends to occur in older women more so than younger women. When it occurs in younger women, it tends to be caused by something a bit more temporary or situational which means that it may be more easily addressed and treated.
The problem is that women tend to suffer far more than men when hair loss occurs, since hair loss in women is socially less acceptable. This is obviously due to the fact that hair is something women use routinely to make themselves more attractive to men.
Luckily, many times womens hair loss is not permanent and can sometimes be reversed if caught early enough and treated properly.
