Worland WY Volunteer Fire Dept Tribute
I am a volunteer firefighter in my hometown of Worland, Wyoming. I created this video/slide show as a tribute to the dedicated service that our local fire dept. has served our small community through the years. I used historical pictures and current ones to capture the spirit of WVFD. This one goes out not only for my WVFD brothers & sisters, but for all those volunteers that put others before themselves. Thanks for the comment Brian! I believe they are the Fire Knight brand helmets. They stopped using them about 5-6 years ago and switched to Cairns. Hope that helps…Once again, thank you for the positive comment! Good to see that I can get some positive feedback from those overseas!

I appreciate your comments as they were heartfelt; that is the whole reason that I had constructed it as it was a honor to those brave guys that put their community before themselves as WFD volunteer firefighters. Once again, Thank you.
My dad passed away …
My dad passed away in March and watching your video was very meaningful for me. He was a Worland Firefighter for 26 years- my whole childhood. I have great memories of the people who were a part of that family and was so proud of my dad for being a firefighter. I miss him terribly but the video made me think about sitting on the firetrucks during the parades and how cool it was to be one of the kids whose dad’s served the WFD. Thank you for honoring them!
